Birrong Boys' High School is a comprehensive, years 7 - 12, state high school offering a broad curriculum and a wide range of extra-curricula activities catering for boys of all abilities, interests and backgrounds.
Students are encouraged and supported by a committed and expert staff in a well-resourced, quality learning environment. HSC results demonstrate the effectiveness of the school's programs. In 2005 one student achieved a UAI of 99.5 and another was placed 2nd in the state in Information Technology. For the less academically oriented students, Life Skills and a wide range of vocational education courses are offered.
As a school, Birrong Boys’ promotes the development of the positive values of integrity, excellence, respect, cooperation, participation, caring, fairness and democracy to produce well-rounded and resilient young men. These values are demonstrated in the variety of programs and activities offered developing student leadership and self-esteem, environmental responsibility, cultural celebration and good citizenship.
Sport is another focus of the school where a wide range of recreational and more competitive sports promote a healthy lifestyle, sportsmanship, personal achievement and teamwork.
